Nizwa & Jabal Akhdar
We start in the morning drive from Muscat to Fanjah photo stop, Continue to Nizwa wher we visit the Nizwa Fort and the souk, famous for its Bedouin silver jewelries and beautifully crafted clay items.
Continue to the beautiful Jabal Al Akhdar, meaning "the green mountain" most impressive mountain of Oman it is (2800 M above sea level).
Jabal Akhdher is famous for gardens, farms and terrace plantation.
We drive up about 20-30 km. to the most impressive mountains, where you may enjoy the breathtaking view from the top. Visit Wadi bani Habib to see one of the remote village and fruit plantations.
Then drive down to the old town of Birkat Al Mauz.
